Celebs hide behind them and, admittedly, so do I! Don't even ask me how many pairs of sunnies I have - enough to lend them out to my responsible BFFs and make room for the newest addition to the collection. I obsess, you obsess, let's optically obsess here.

Stitched Sunnies & Sublime Opties

Posted By LauriJon on Sep 1, 2007 at 9:14AM

I found these Sunnies while on vacation in a store called Tiger Lily in the outlets near Rehoboth Beach Delaware. They're a great Tort with stitching on top on on the temples.

Although I usually go for brown torts or black Breakfast at Tiffany's sunnies, I love my pair of Adrienne Vittadini red, tan and black opties.

On Our Radar: Penguin Shades

Posted By Fashion on Jun 18, 2007 at 5:46PM

Not new to the sunglasses scene, Penguin shades have lived under the radar but thanks to fans like Amy Winehouse and Brit bad girl Peaches Geldof, I suspect a boom is near. These vintage-inspired frames are fun and fabulous - and affordable to boot.

These oversized lovelies are currently on sale for $113, from $150. Be sure to check out their other styles ranging from bold Dirk Diggler-esque shapes for the boys and sexy-in-my-Cabrio rims for the girls.

The Look for Less: Tom Ford Cat's-Eye Sunglasses

Posted By Fashion on May 31, 2007 at 5:45AM

Almost all of the latest sunglass trends - bug-eyes, aviators, Jackie-Os, chunky square - have been beaten to death. All except for one: the cat's-eye. This style is very old-school yet hip, and perfect for those with a small face. These Tom Ford Anouk Cat's-Eye Sunglasses, $300, are stunning (you may recall that I have them!) yet pricey. But fret not, because you can get this look for less.

Trend Alert: Bejeweled Wraparound Sunglasses

Posted By Fashion on May 9, 2007 at 10:20AM

This Spring sure has been fun with everything razzle dazzling and biggie blinging. So, it's no surprise temple art has taken over sunglasses - even on a sporty shape like the wraparound. A great shape for oval faces, these bejeweled wraparound sunglasses take basking in the sun to another level. Starworthy yes, expensive yes, but when you wear a pair of these at least you can ditch the earrings!

Yes, I have a group dedicated to sunglasses. Do you share my addiction? Join SOS! Sassy Opticals & Sunnies!

Gucci 1828 Interchangeable Lenses > Gucci Sunglasses > UK Sunglasses

This is the pair of sunnies that I borrow from my mum to wear at the country club (dark lenses) and sometimes when I have a resort look going on (light lenses). The interchangeable lenses are genius.

*Screams* I adore the Chloe sunglasses this season (everyone does right?) and this pair is just so right for any situation. I'd even wear it indoors, just to show off. Lol.
